"Oh ye gods." Stella groaned when Nick flew out of the back door. She rubbed her head and rolled her eyes as she watched. "Oldest trick in the book." She muttered when she saw Nick handing a soda to Tyler. The boy took it politely and handed it to Amelia. Stella grinned. "Always the gentleman." She thought, wondering if Nick picked up on it but knowing that wouldn't immediately let him off the hook. Amelia seemed to sense her dad was up to something too and watched him carefully as he went back inside. Glancing at the soda in her hand and then at Tyler's, which he had swilled down and was getting ready to lift her again, she looked up toward the house and caught her dad watching them. Knowing exactly how to make him crazy, she told Tyler quietly to do the chair with her again and then move it to shoulder sit and then into another stunt. They did the chair perfectly but when he caught her he threw her up again and she did a toe-touch, landing in the splits in his arms, his hands wrapped firmly around her thighs to support her. It was an advanced stunt and Indiana seemed shocked. Amelia surpressed a smirk as she dared a glance toward the house, knowing her dad was probably inside being restrained by her mom.

"What... the hell... was that...?" Nick asked Stella glancing out the window. "No really, what the hell was that?" he asked again, once again leaning on the sink for support. "She did that on purpose! Do you know that? I can't watch this anymore," he mumbled, turning away from the window, and looking at Stella. "And wipe that smirk off of your face; this isn't funny," he informed her, as he wrapped his arms around his wife's waist. "If there is to be any kissing in this house, it will be done by you and I; not by Amelia and... that boy."
"That boy is the least of your worries, Dad," JC grinned, walking into the kitchen. "You should see her at school."
Nick frowned, glancing up at his son. "What do you mean?" he asked.
"Nothing," JC laughed. "But she's pretty popular, if you haven't noticed," he added, immediately leaving the kitchen.
Nick just sighed, resting his forehead against Stella's. "I trust her; I do, really. She's a good kid, with a good head on her shoulders. It's the boys that I don't trust."

Becky had walked in too with her older brother and immediately jumped to her sister's defense.
"Amelia's good at school, JC!"
She announced and Stella smiled, looking over her shoulder at Becky as she didn't bother to disentangle herself from Nick. Amelia was a good kid, she had just happened to discover boys early on. Amelia breezed into the kitchen to grab a couple more soda's.
"So how you liking the practices dad? Me and Indiana were thinking we could practice in the yard every night, seeing as it's real big an' all. Tyler and I are a great team, dontcha think?"
She said innocently, smirking when she turned to leave.
"Stop tormenting your dad, Amy, you know how wound up he gets when it comes to boys."
Stella teased, feeling Nick tense up at their daughter's carefully-chosen words. Becky suddenly piped up.
"Amy, JC was saying you're bad at school - well, he said "popular" but even *I* knew what he meant."
She said matter-of-factly and Amelia turned on JC with a horrifed expression .
"Oooh, Jaden, you are so dead!"

JC shrugged at his sister, trying to wipe the smile from his face. "I can't help it, sis. You're a cheerleader, and it comes with the territory," he laughed, swiping another soda from the fridge, and turning toward the door. "Oh, and Amy? Derek wants to talk to you," he grinned, biting his lip. "Although I'm not sure if it's talking that he actually wants to do."
"Knock if off, Jaden Connor," Nick immediately said. "And stop talking to your sister that way. Don't you have homework or something to do?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, as he slowly swayed back and forth with Stella in his arms.
"No," JC grinned. "But I'm going, I'm going, I'm going," he announced, shaking his head from side to side, and heading back toward his bedroom. "Amy and Tyler, sittin' in a tree..." he chanted, as he slammed his bedroom door shut.
"Yell at them or something," Nick whispered to Stella. "Because I'm not picturing my baby girl doing anything more than G-rated with any boys."

Amelia suddenly looked torn. She said something quietly to Becky and headed toward the stairs.
"It'd be rude not to say hi."
Amy said innocently, before running up the stairs. Derek was waiting at the top and she almost crashed into him.
"Um...hi."
She smiled, suddenly unsure of what to do. She promised herself that it was a quick hello and asking him what he wanted to see her about, even though she had a pretty good idea, and then she'd go back to the others outside. Grace peeked out of her bedroom door, unnoticed to both of them, and ducked back inside when she heard something hitting her window. Rushing over to open it, she smiled down at the person throwing the stone to get her attention. Shimmying open the window, she carefully slid down the slightly-sloped roof to the hallway below and climbed the trellis on the wall to get to the ground.
"At least you got the right window this time. Jamie woke mom and dad last time."
Grace teased, hands on her hips as she smiled at Jake. He was the boy from down the street. It seemed like all the Stokes girls were becoming interested in boys now.

"Hey," Derek grinned at Amelia, running a hand through his dirty blond hair. "Nice job making the team and all," he told her, moving backward so that he could lean agains the hallway wall. "I always knew that you'd make it," he commented, throwing her a lopsided smile. "You have the moves. But listen," he continued, licking his lips. "I was wondering if you wanted to grab some pizza after school one day? Maybe get to know one another...?" he asked. Unless you'd like to get to know one another right now, he thought to himself, trying not to chuckle.
---
"Yeah," Jake commented with a small smile. "Your mom didn't look too happy," he admitted. "And your dad? He's just scary. What's with him, anyhow?" he asked, starting to head away from the window. "I mean, my dad is scary, but your dad is scarier."
---
"So, Mrs. Stokes," Nick smiled, turning around so that Stella was leaning against the counter. Resting his hands on the counter beside her body, he chuckled. "Are you trying to tell me that I should not be concerned with what our daughter is doing?" he asked, bending over, and lightly kissing her neck.
(hope you don't mind that I stole Jake! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to or not!)

Amelia smiled sweetly and nodded.
"Sure. That sounds cool. I'm free tomorrow for an hour or two."
She shrugged, also leaning against the wall. She was a Type A flirt, just like her mom had been, and she knew how to wrap guys around her little finger. If her dad had known how well she could do this, she knew he'd most likely send her to an all-girls school. But she wasn't a slut or anything - she just liked to tease the boys. She'd make out with them if she really did like them as they liked her but otherwise, she'd just tease. She saw his eyes traveling up and down her body before they settled on hers again. She raised an eyebrow and folded her arms, biting her lip and seeing exactly how far she could push this thing.
---------
"Oh, that just comes with having four daughters. He isn't like that with JC. I guess it's 'cause he's so scared of us "getting into trouble"...well, mainly Amy, 'cause you know what she's like. So...why'd you want me this time?"
She smiled. She'd seen her sister work her charms on various guys and she was attempting to pick some of it up.
---------
Stella smiled and closed her eyes as he kissed her neck. In 16 years of marriage he still had the touch that made her shiver. Their kids had gotten used to walking in on them making out in the kitchen. At first they'd been unbelievably grossed out, but they'd soon gotten used to it, prefering to ignore the fact that it was happening, yelling "get a room!" as they kept clear of the kitchen for a good ten minutes.
"I'm not telling you not to be concerned honey, but just take into account that she's 16 and at that age I was....just like her. My parents tried to stop me so it made me even more determined to rebel against them."
They'd never really talked about what she was like as a teenager - because in all honesty she wasn't sure if his knowing that would change the way she could raise her kids. If she said "no, you can't see that boy!" then she'd feel like a hypocrite because she knew she'd gone against her parents when they'd told her that all those years ago. Placing her hands on his shoulders she prevented him from repyling for a moment by pulling back from his kisses on her neck and locking her lips with his.

"Hey, did you see me in the game yesterday?" Derek asked, turning to look at Amelia, and raising an eyebrow. "Did you see me tackle number 34, and then point toward the cheerleaders? I was pointing at you, you know," he commented with a smile. At seventeen, Derek was single, and although he was known as a player for good reason, he could still be sweet and charming--when he wanted to be. "Because I couldn't help but notice you on the sidelines," he continued. "In your adorable little cheerleader outfit, with your pompoms... what was that? Like a live test for cheerleaders?" he asked, also folding his arms across his chest.
---
"Dunno!" Jake shrugged, smiling. "Wanna go play some video games?" he asked, a smile forming on his lips. "Maybe some Star Wars, or Final Fantasy? Might be kind of fun," he trailed off, blinking.
---
Closing his eyes, Nick gently traced Stella's lower lip with his tongue, before sliding his tongue into her mouth. "You know," he commented, pulling back a minute or so later. "I've got two things on my mind," he whispered, as started to nuzzle her neck again. "Well three. One, you had me wrapped around your litle finger the first day that we met," he grinned, kissing her neck. "Is she the same way? Because I would have done anything for you. Two, what is JC's love life looking like?" he continued, sliding his hands down her back, and wrapping his arms more tightly around her. "Should I be equally as concerned about his behavior? And three, you are amazingly attractive right now," he whispered into her ear.

Amelia smiled innocently and tugged her skirt down a little. It was short, that was for sure.
"A live test...I guess you could call it that. Sorry, was I distracting you from playing football?"
She laughed lightly, brushing her hair out of her face, dark eyes just like her mom's sparkling mischieveously.
---------
"Video games sound cool, let's go."
She grinned, grabbing his hand as they ran toward his house. Grace didn't even realize she had a crush on him, so she didn't think for one minute that he would have a crush on her. At 10 years old, she was still at the "eeew, boys smell" stage, even though she was slipping out of it now.
--------
"Well, you're not so bad yourself Mr. Stokes."
She whispered huskily, tracing light shapes on his back and feeling him shudder a little. She still had it, and boy did she know it.
"What's say we slip on upstairs. It'll ease your mind about Amy and then we can have our own fun. Oh, and JC? I think he's a little obsessed with his football right now, but who knows. He doesn't talk to me like Amy does, sweetie. You'll have to find out for yourself."

"Yes," Derek nodded. "You distracted me during the game, and you're still distracting me right now, he admitted, licking his lips, and letting his gaze wander down her body. "But you're a cheerleader, I'm a football player... it makes sense, you know? WE make sense," he added, his arms still folded across his chest. "But I know that you want to kiss me right now. I can see it in your eyes," he grinned at her.
---
"Maybe I'll even let you win!" Jake told her, as they ran through the yard back to his house. "OH! And Mom made cookies this afternoon, too, so we can have some, if you want!" he told her, as they flew in through the back door. "Want some chocolate chip cookies and milk?" he asked, already pulling two glasses down from the cubbord.
---
"What kind of fun are we going to be having?" Nick quietly asked Stella, raising an eyebrow, and trying to wipe the smirk off of his face. Pulling her toward him once more, he learned toward her, lightly nibbling on her neck. "Is it the type of fun that requires that our bedroom door be closed and locked?" he asked, already pushing Stella toward the door to the kitchen. "Because that's my favorite kind of fun."
